Excellent accommodations, especially for the price. Just what we wanted for a quiet weekend getaway--a comfortable, cozy hotel with superb dining options just across or down the street. Thank you! We plan on returning soon.
I really enjoyed my stay. I actually added a night after the first night.I almost circled back for another night!I have already recommended The Hotel Frisco to several friends!!!!!The staff is wonderful.....Wish you were closer to Houston, Texas!
Fireplace needs a grate and starter materials for the fire,an easy fix.
Wonderful!
Excellent valueOnly comment concerns pets.We had a noisy, yapping dog next to us.Our stay would have been more relaxing without the dog.Otherwise, we still love the hotel!
We use to stay at the "chain" hotels, but after we found Hotel Frisco, we never stay anywhere else!
I really enjoyed my recent week-long stay at the Hotel Frisco. The hotel has a great location in the center of town on Main St. Walk out the front door and you are just steps away from restaurants, bars, shops, and the bus stop. My room was small, but comfortable and very clean, as was the bathroom. The front desk staff - Rachel, Derek, and Lynn - was friendly and very helpful with questions about the area and recommendations for places to eat. Even though I didn't bring my dog, I liked that the hotel is dog-friendly (as is the whole town of Frisco) and enjoyed playing with the hotel's resident dogs - Bailey, Hannah, and Buddha - when I returned from snowboarding or meals. My only minor disappointment was that the online description of my room said that it had a combo TV/DVD player, but it was only a TV. You have to pay extra to have a DVD player put in your room. The only suggestion for improvement would be maybe a continental breakfast or some snacks put out with the free coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. If and when I return to Colorado (hopefully next winter), I would definitely stay at the Hotel Frisco again. Thanks to all the staff there for making my stay really enjoyable.
The upstairs library was well-lit for reading and relaxing.
Very helpful personnel, only comment would be on the small tv in our room. But we stayed there to rest and not to watch tv. I will recommend Hotel Frisco to my friends.
DEAD BOLT LOCK ON DOOR IS NOT WORKING.
the staff is amazing. hannan is so cute. i would rather stay there for a few more pennies than a national chain.
It is like a home away from home. We do not stay anywhere else. Plus, there's Hannah!
We will definitely be back! Hotel Frisco was charming, quiet, clean, comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. The only thing we would change is, we would have preferred a slightly later check-out time (11:00am rather than 10:00am), as we felt a little rushed in the morning. But other than that, it was perfect!
I have lodged at the Hotel Frisco on several occasions and have enjoyed my stay every time.
In room 204 on the weekend you want to make sure and bring your earplugs. Lots of street/alley noise. Other than that, a clean, quaint, comfortable and affordable room.
I have stayed here before. The general condition has deteriorated since last year, but it is nothing that a little bit of maintenance won't fix. It is still a charming little hotel right in the middle of downtown Frisco.
Part of the joy of living about an hour from Frisco is the spark of romantic spontaneity. There are few places as friendly and accommodating as the Hotel Frisco. A nice place to shave off the hard edges of a busy work week or three. We'll be back...
On slight detraction was the older bureau in the room with no mirror. It did not add in any way to the ambiance despite the fact that the mirror was likely removed to make way for the HDTV.
I do like this hotel and have used it twice now, but the hot tub is always too cold (under 98 degrees) and some of the buttons are broken so we can't turn all of the jets on. For a ski vacation, a working hot tub is an absolute essential for me. Even though everything else is wonderful, I will take this into major consideration when booking my next trip.
