First time at Hotel Frisco. Really liked it. Nice amenities like the free internet, library of books & games, outdoor hot tub. Will definitely stay there again!
Overall, I would rate my stay at Hotel Frisco an 8 out of 10. The hotel was very clean, quite and in an ideal location. My only complaint would be that the staff at the front desk was on the phone every time I needed them. I waited 10 minutes on my initial check-in.. the room wasn't ready and when I returned an hour later waited an additional 15-20 minutes for the staff to finish a phone conversation. I realize there is normal business that needs to be conducted, sometimes when other guests are waiting in the lobby, but this happened to me twice and it put a bad taste in my mouth before ever stepping foot in my room. Lucky for you the Hotel itself made up for this and I was able to enjoy my stay. Based on my experience, I'm forced to believe that other guests have been put in the same situation and this shows a definite need for additional staff at your hotel.
Another Happy stay at the Hotel Frisco. Same room as requested and expected. The front desk people asways deliver friendly full service...... I sometimes wonder if I should try someplace else for a change. But, after my stay I realize, If its not broke, don't try and fix it....
More of an "Inn" feel than a hotel. Laid back environment; reading loft with good selection from a book exchange library; In the mornings I had my coffee sitting in one of the leather chairs beside the stone fireplace reading and planning our day...very peaceful. Convenient parking at rear of hotel. Location in the center of town close to shops, restaurants, museum, etc. Easy stroll to the lake to view the boating activities. A minor drawback was no air conditioning, but nights were cool so we opened the sliding glass doors for air which was comfortable, but a little noisy from nearby businesses. We would definitely stay at The Hotel Frisco again and encourage others to do so.
The hot chocolate in the lobby was a big hit and we loved having the computer in the lobby.
Friendly and accomodating staff, nicely appointed rooms, warm relaxing common areas, central Summit County location...a great place to stay. Thank you for a perfect vaction Mary & Mark!
I have been coming here through three owners and it just keeps getting better. I notice little upgrades each year. I try to stay here for at least one night, if not more, whenever I am in Colorado. For friendly staff, location, cleanliness and price you can't do better!
My daughter and I stayed one night at the Hotel Frisco on our way from Telluride back to Boulder. The staff was friendly, and the room was nice and comfortable. Other reviews that I read accurately described the hotel. It was clean, had nice beds, small bathrooms and mostly updated. One issue is the walls are pretty thin and you can hear your neighbors. It wasn't a big issue for us, as I think the hotel was not full, but something to be aware of. Hotel Frisco is definately dog friendly, even has a dog sitting service. The location is excellent and a great stay for the money.
Great location. Over priced though. The bathroom situation has lots of room for improvement.
A quaint little hotel that accepts pets, though you would never know. The place is clean, nice, friendly, and quiet. I love staying here - many rooms have private hottubs (thought ours this time did not). Perfect place for the night.
Great place!
After indepth searches and numerous reviews, I thought that Hotel Frisco would be a perfect location to rest our blistered feet - after walking the Avon Walk for Brest Cancer marathon. I was truly disappointed to find a small, worn out room, that overlooked the restaurant next door. We had specifically asked for a quiet room and was garenteed that all of their rms would be quiet, especially since the hot tub would be locked by nine. We couldn't keep our balcony door open, because of the noise from the restaurant and a bar behind the alley - with a band. The noise from the ajoining rm was so loud, at 12:30 a.m., I had to politely ask the occupants to lower their voices, after they had tried to enter our rm a half hour earlier. The woman at the front desk was great - very helpful and courtious. The bathroom is what needs the most updating. The beds and bedding were great - just like the picture.
Aalso the phone in our room did not work. The # 6 diget stuck making it impossible to call any number with the number "6". Also the sink was missing any kind of a drain stopper, so you had to be real careful not to drop anything in the sink. Other than those things, it is usually a great place to stay. I just hope this isn't a sign that things are going down hill.
Great location - right on main street; however, carpet was dirty and room a bit tacky.
